Festival season is finally upon us and let me tell you something, I am here for it. It has been too long, my friends, since we were all hyped up for a weekend of festivals.

If like me, you love to side-step in a muddy field or a tent filled with laser beams, with a pint in one hand whilst your eardrums are taking the heat from the music, then this article is for you.

LOST VILLAGE

Lost Village is giving us another chapter and is set to go ahead this August with an expected 20,000 festivals goers set to return to the woods and swap the outside world for incredible sounds, tasty food and are ready to create unforgettable memories.

Although, COVID-19 restrictions halted the festival from going ahead as planned in 2020, Lost Village have made sure to make heads turn with the unreal line-up they have planned. Expect to hear dreamy sounds from Four Tet, some synthy-sounds from Fatima Yamaha, Aussies finest gal HAAI is set to bless your ears, eyes and heart, even Falamour and DJ Boring are hitting the stage to create that stonking sounds we have all missed and longed to hear.

Lost Village isn’t just a music festival, but it’s a summer festival that sets itself apart from other festivals by offering hot-tubs, yoga, forest walks alongside workshops, tasty food and you can even expect a firework display on the Sunday. What more could you want from a festival?

If there is one festival you want to attend at least once in your life, make it this one. You’d be a dafty not too experience what this festival has to offer.

Unfortunately, due to the small capacity of the venue, tickets are sold out. However, Lost Village announced on their social media pages that they will be uploading tickets and keeping people up to date via social media accounts with information of ticket resales.

If you’re planning on getting lost in the village and escaping reality for 4 days, be quick and swipe up tickets here: Lost Village Tickets.

London based weekend festival Junction 2 is set to go ahead this August with a range

Of DJ’s set to bless your ears with some side-stepping tunes. Held over the same weekend as Lost Village, you’ll unfortunately have to decide between the two where you’d go, which is a tough decision based on the incredible line-up Junction 2 has to offer.

On the Saturday expect to see the likes of Amelie Lens, Jon Hopkins, DJ Boring, Kessie and a mental 4 hour set from Maceo Plex. Following on from the Saturday, Sunday offers Helena Star, Sam Bangura, Manami and the famous Nina Kraviz is set to take the stage by storm.

The festival is currently sold-out, but what can you expect with a line-up that fine. However, Junction 2 have stated on their social media accounts that resale tickets will become available on their website.

So, if you fancy grabbing tickets, you can head over to Junction 2 and catch yourself some tickets here, when they do become available.

Even though the day festival is sold out, Junction 2 are expected to hit up world famous nightclub ‘FABRIC’ for an afterparty with Amelie Lens and Nina Kraviz, who are set to play from 11pm until 7am. Who wouldn’t want to book the weekend off work to party with these 2? So, I’m here to tell you to book that flight and weekend off work and grab your tickets for the after-party here.

BOARDMASTERS

DATE: 11th – 15th August 2021

Boardmasters

undefined

Boardmasters is set to sail this Summer in sunny Cornwall. Expect to catch one of the best line-ups, sunny weathers, pints and maybe a wave if you fancy a surf down at Cornwall’s beaches during your stay. The festival even has a Boardmasters foundation, which was established in 2017 in order to give back to the community of Cornwall and give all you festivalgoers something back. So, if you’re planning on hitting this one up, you’ll know your ticket price is making a difference.

Now the 2021 line-up for Cornwall is without a doubt, outstanding. There is range of solo artists, bands and of course DJs at this festival and they still haven’t even announced the full line up. How could it get better? is what I am asking myself.

The festival is set over 5 days which is exceptionally longer than most festivals, that host over the standard weekend. Hey-ho, that means more time in the sun and more fun.

The music starts on the Friday with Foals set to take the headline place, alongside Sam Fender and Eats Everything. Get set to see Ejeca, Metrik and Kettama spinning some tunes for your pleasure.

Saturday’s line-up is chefs kiss, with Gorillaz headlining alongside The Kooks. Over on the flipside, you can enjoy ALF, Modir and Radio 1 DJ Jack Saunders’ DJ set on the night.

Closing on the Sunday is SlowThai, Adelphi Music Factory, Falamour, Heléna Star and Lost in Music DJ.

If like me you like a range of different music, this festival is probably more your cuppa! With the range its offering, it’s hard to say no.

Currently tickets are sold out for this one, but you can sign up for ticket resale here

CREAMFIELDS

DATE: 26th – 29th August 2021

Creamfields

undefined

If you’ve never heard of Creamfields, then clearly, you’re absent from the world of music. Creamfields has probably been the most hyped-up festival I have seen this year and it’s set to take you all by storm over its weekend with a line-up set to make you call in sick to work – just so you can attend!

Coming in hot and heavy on the Friday is BICEP and The Chemical Brothers. Nina Karviz is set to hit Creamfields on the Friday with her very own ‘Nina Kraviz and Friends’ stage. Expect to see Helena Hauff, Dax J and Leon Vynehall here, alongside the dreamy Peggy Gou.

If you plan on hitting up the Saturday, you’ll be expected to see the likes of Carl Cox, Trance Wax, Amber Stomp, Gorgon City, Monki and Pete Tong behind the decks.

Come the Sunday, you’ll be gutted Creamfields is almost over, but it’s sure to go out with a bang with the line-up for this day. FAITHLESS are set to perform a DJ set, which let’s be honest, gives you goosebumps thinking about it. Solardo, Pendulum Trinity, Denis Sulta and Michael BiBi are set to close.

Just when you think the Sunday line-up cannot get any better, Creamfields announced special guests TCHAMI are going to be spinning some tunes on the STMPD stage.

To no surprise, unfortunately tickets for Creamfields are completely sold out. Hopefully, we’ll still be able to enviously enjoy it from the hundreds of Instagram stories we’ll no doubt see.
