Jay Gunning has made this year one to remember in terms of his career, securing his debut at Subclub in October, a spot at Defected Records Festival and has gained recognition from music legends Annie Mac and Jaguar. 

Not only has Jay been involved with BBC Radio 1's Introducing, but created his own studio at the beginning of lockdown to focus on producing and this year signed onto the world renowned Nervous Records and released his EP in July. 

"2021 has been come year with highs and lows for me. I began this year with my first ever solo release that seen it being supported by jaguar on BBC Introducing Dance on Radio 1. This was certainly an amazing start to my releasing journey that I have been working hard to create. 

I also had the pleasure of signing a 3 track EP to the legendary Nervous Records joining some of my house music icons and am still in shock haha.

Not only this, but Annie Mac supported this release on one of her last ever Radio 1 shows. That will always hold a special place in my heart! I'm working hard and the release schedule is building for 2022 so keep your eyes peeled for some more action and thanks to the Project Radio team for the support over the last year!"
